The Ultimate Keto Cabbage Burger Wrap Recipe

So bye bye to traditional buns—this Keto Cabbage Burger Wrap Recipe is your new low-carb favorite. Cabbage leaves make a perfect substitute for burger buns, offering a sturdy, crunchy wrap that holds all your favorite fillings without the carbs.

This version sticks to the classics: juicy beef patties, melted cheddar, crisp red onion, fresh tomato, tangy pickles, and a simple, flavorful homemade sauce. The best part? You can customize your keto cabbage wrap burger any way you like—swap in turkey, add bacon, or make it spicy with jalapeños. This is a Ravoke top ten in taste favorite.

Ingredients for Cabbage Wraps

For the wraps:

  • 4 large green cabbage leaves (from 1 head)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced into rounds
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • Pickle chips, for serving

For the sauce:

  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make the Keto Cabbage Burger Wrap Recipe

Step 1: Prep the Cabbage

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Using tongs, dip each cabbage leaf in the water for about 30 seconds to blanch. Transfer to a paper towel–lined plate to dry completely. Large leaves work best to fully wrap your burger.

Step 2: Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside for serving.

Step 3: Cook the Burgers

Form the ground beef into four equal patties and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4–6 minutes per side, or until done to your liking. Add a slice of cheddar cheese during the last minute to melt.

Step 4: Assemble the Wraps

Lay a cabbage leaf flat and place the burger patty near the thickest part of the stem. Add onion, tomato, and pickles. Fold the bottom of the leaf up, then roll the sides over to fully enclose the burger. Repeat with remaining leaves.

Serve your Keto Cabbage Burger Wrap Recipe with the homemade sauce and enjoy a fresh, low-carb twist on the classic burger.
